Link in bio not working? Fix it.

Why it happens and how to fix it.

Most broken links come down to one of six things. Find the one that matches what you see, and each fix takes about a minute.

It says page not found

The link has a typo

One wrong letter sends people to a page that doesn’t exist. Don’t type your link by hand: in Suprlink, tap Share at the top of your dashboard, then Copy link, and paste it into your profile again.

The page isn’t published yet

A new page stays private until you publish it. If the Share sheet says Not public yet, tap Publish. If you chose to publish later, the page goes live at the time you picked.

It shows an old version

Edits go live when you publish them. If the Share sheet says your latest edits aren’t live yet, tap Publish there. Your link stays the same, so there’s nothing to change on your profiles.

It asks for a password or an age check

These come from your own settings. In Suprlink, open Settings, then Privacy and access. Turn off Password protection if you want anyone to see the page, and Sensitive content if visitors don’t need to confirm they’re 18 or older.

It isn’t clickable

Most apps only make links tappable in certain places. Links typed into Instagram and TikTok captions or comments are plain text, and so are links in YouTube Shorts descriptions and comments. Put your link in your profile and point people there. Here’s how on Instagram and YouTube.

The app won’t take it

There’s nowhere to put it

TikTok only shows the website option to accounts with at least 1,000 followers or a verified business account. LinkedIn keeps the link under your name for Premium Business, so free members add it in Contact info instead.

The app says the link isn’t allowed

Every app checks links against its own rules and turns some away. Make sure the page behind your link doesn’t break them, then try again.

It opens inside the app

Instagram, TikTok and others open links in their own browser so people stay in the app. That’s normal, and your page works there. People can switch to their usual browser from the app’s menu if they want to.
